In sitar/veena strings are excited by one hand …ie energy is applied
Strings are pressed in particular mode/sequence, in required degrees to manipulate the sound so that raga is produced…..ie intelligence is applied
In scooter engine runs, accelerator is operated…..energy
Driver controls the direction by steering and brake…intelligence
In painting a picture color is applied……..energy
That paint is spread in to produce shades………and shapes…intelligence
In sculpture hammer is striking the chisel ……energy
It is applied in an order to cut the stone as desired ….intelligence
In speech we produce audible sound…….energy
The tongue and lips work to produce a talk ……..intelligence

 connoisseur is provocateur

a response with a right understanding is a great compliment to the artist.

it is in fact ,a compliment to the one who has responded as well  for his capacity to receive the message.

koi suntha nahi khudake siva [ none listens, except god]----laments a soul

if there is one who can listen , is he not equal to khuda himself?

good absorbers are good radiators--a law in the subject of heat transfer

capacity to receive is a great divine gift

that is why an adage --blowing shankha at a deaf ear

the understanding unites the artist and the connoisseur, establishes a contact ,a channel, thru which the friendship flows, intimacy grows instantly,

both become a unity, a bigger whole, 
a richer wealth, --separate atoms becoming a molecule.

the phenomenon becomes more picturesque on a stage performance, may be a speech, poetry,  drama, dance, music

the artist and audience having acquired / rather taken in to one unity, 
they revel in that bigger dimension, the self referral unity.

due to the self referral effect, the knowledge / performance flows in unexpected new channels with extempore / spontaneity , 

the depth increases, the art flows, all getting immersed in the ocean of unity,
the bliss of ,goodness, beauty, --
the rasaanubhoothi

rasagnatha, the ability to appreciate, receive, respond is a great quality comparable to an expert who can cognize gems, 

he moves up in taste, some new channels inside get opened by the effect of the artists performance, an instant elevation to a gandharva loka , the world of angels, gods, probably

hence it' s importance and one poet extolled its import saying that  it is like fragrance adding value to flower

in the company of rasagnas, or rasikas, the enlightened receivers , the artist gets inspired beyond a measure and his souls pleased, blesses him much more creativity to display.

response need not be a empty praise, flattery, a formality, a favor--it can be a criticism to share more points of views ,more beauty added in effect. 

artists grow a lot with response, 
correct the inadvertent mistakes , 
see new visions, new ways to flow, 
and reach a level of perfection, more quickly than in a situation of no response. 

thus,  connoisseurs  are  provocateurs 

and thus the artists and the provocateurs help each others , both growing and sharing performance and praise mutually,

and both move to a new world 
and the known world thereby expands, gets filled with knowledge and fulfillment

well, leads me to add---
god is the artist/expressing in various forms/ in creation/thru creation /thru creatures

bhakth is the connoisseur, and hence provocateur

both unite in sharing bliss

also
artist and art both form a pair in self referral of artist

and artist, himself, is the best connoisseur, in the best self referral with his best self , the provocateur

   comments can be standardized


i often wondered , is it necessary to comment at events, my previous comments holding good with slight revision to suit the news of history repeating.

i felt comments can be standardized to suit different themes of history—repeating with  change only in name, place, time, temperature, humidity, colour, quality, quantity, frequency, — a change —all like a huge tree sending out  the same leaf flower or fruit, seasonal.

the seed has not changed hence the same crop.

this leads to finalizing it in the form of a quote, an adage, a saying—this leading me to find that  the sayings endured times, and some became classic.—-mainly due to repetition of history, and people emoting correspondingly.—–this is at the level of history.

extending the logic to the level of legend, mythology, tradition, smrithies, puranas, —- we can find similarly how the ”reactions” have been standardised and getting used as they are –to emote in perfect fashion, without spending creative energies to write on trivialities of times and simply serving the contemporary purpose equally well.

the comment can be a huge book, an essay, an anecdote, a passage, a para, a sentence, and even a single word [brevity, the soul of wit], a sigh ,  a curse, a derision, a laugh , a smile or even a silence.

the present case, also a repetition of corrupt judicial–a person in high office behaving low

standard comments:

sumathi says”kanakapu simhasanamuna shunakamu koorchunda betty…venukati guna mela maanu!” [a dog enthroned, cannot overcome its tendencies]

bible says ”you are the salt of the earth….”

sankara says ”nahi nahi rakshathi ….” all the erudition cannot save you, fool, bhaja govindam, he only can if you care

that is how the wisdom is–some times elaborating into detailed upakhyanam, some other times, condensing itself in to pithy quotes–like a plant elaborating into all details of tree and the same condensing itself into a summary in the form of a seed.

  consolidate

let me consolidate all random scattered diamonds and pearls, jewels and marvels  and start creating beautiful art works

  

connectivity to self is a must

Each expression of gita is a hyper link to enormous wisdom

and can be accessed individually verse wise or as a sum / essence

 if one is having the connectivity to his inner self,

 all the essence of gita opens from within , without the need of reading/listening of gita

without that inner connectivity , just reading literal meaning and interpretations will be superficial and incomplete"

 

First and foremost , earliest in life Shankracharya realized, experienced, stabilized in the transcendental pure consciousness, became yogastha, and hence was able to proclaim----chidanda roopah, shivoham shivoham

 

and could give authentic bhashya of the gita , in the light of his own inner light ,

 

he validated the truth of gita by the strength of his experience of the self

was able to say''bhagavathgita kinchidhadheetha ......''

 

if he did not have the inner connectivity, he would not have done justice to such scriptures

 

scriptures reveal their essence, not thru just reading , but with the help of inner connectivity

so my emphasis is on gaining the inner connectivity first and foremost

if not nahi nahi rakshathi dukrun karani, just reading no help"

 

"Point must be noted by all spiritual explorers. that -----only a self realized master -----can provide the effective guidance,

and enables the aspirant to successfully gain the most essential self realization , in shortest time

 

Merely repeating scriptures will not lead to self realization

in fact , reading of any scripture is not a prerequisite ,

nor a means for self realization even under a pure devotee

 

self realization is ''going beyond '' every thing, including the scriptures,

 

as a result of self realization, one will gain the ability to access the inner scriptures , and starts expressing the same without prior reading , but his expression will tally those with scriptures

nistrai-gunyo bhavarjuna

 

Bhagavad-gita As It Is 2.45]

 

trai-gunya-vishaya vedanistrai-gunyo bhavarjuna

nirdvandvo nitya-sattva-stho niryoga-kshema atmavan

 

The Vedas deal mainly with the subject of the three modes of material nature. O Arjuna, become transcendental to these three modes.

Be free from all dualities and from all anxieties for gain and safety,

and be established in the self.

 

All material activities involve actions and reactions in the three modes of material nature. They are meant for fruitive results, which cause bondage in the material world. The Vedas deal mostly with fruitive activities to gradually elevate the general public from the field of sense gratification to a position on the transcendental plane. Arjuna, as a student and friend of LordKrishna, is advised to raise himself------ to the transcendental ------'''

hence, the need of going beyond the naama, roopa, mahima, guna, leela, gaathaa, gaana, vaadya, naatya,

 

if not one is held up in the bhava sagar, innocently even in the name of bhakthi, devotion

 

once the transcendental unmanifest essence is owned, one gets the access / command / familiarity to the essence of all scriptures , vedas, gita, without reading at all ,

 

more over his life will be validating the scriptural truth naturally , without the imposition of rules dos donts or surrender bhakthi , pooja,

 

he lives  ‘’yad yad karma karomi thath thath akhilam shambho thava aaraadhanam’’

 

 the message of gita is ''go beyond '' , become muktha,

 

do not hang on at any level, even as bhaktha to a duality of ''me and he''

 

rise to ''thath thvam asi ''"

  Ahimsa paramo dharmah

Cruelty is bad in any form, to any one,
cow, bull, bird, beast, man ,insect
tree, plant, environment 
in any pretext, in any context, 
spiritual, scriptural, habitual, 
faith, belief, superstition, tradition
we must be kind to all, 
but within practical limits 
with best discretion guiding our actions
to find creative solutions with infinite alternatives

 i slip the substandard and move to best , not wasting a moment proving that they are less wise, that does not help me
